Its objective is to provide commuters, tourists, and students in the Greater Klang Valley with quick algorithmic estimates of travel times, interchange connections, and published fares across rail transit systems (LRT, MRT, Monorail, BRT, KTM Komuter, and ERL).
KL Rail Guide is completely independent and is NOT affiliated with, authorized by, sponsored by, or endorsed by Prasarana Malaysia Berhad, Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd, Mass Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd (MRT Corp), Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB), Express Rail Link Sdn Bhd (ERL), or the Ministry of Transport Malaysia (MOT).
2. Estimates Only & Operational Variance
All journey itineraries, transfer duration metrics, platform interchanges, and fare breakdowns generated by this calculator are automated algorithmic calculations derived from public timetables and tariff tables.
- Real-world train frequencies, operational delays, unscheduled track maintenance, platform closures, gate adjustments, and turnstile ticket pricing are determined exclusively by official railway operators and are subject to immediate change without notice.
- We cannot guarantee that calculated routes will always reflect live track conditions, crowd congestion, or temporary transit disruptions.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, THE CREATOR AND OPERATOR OF TRANSITKL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, FINANCIAL LOSSES, MISSED APPOINTMENTS, MISSED FLIGHT CONNECTIONS, EXTENDED COMMUTES, FARE DISCREPANCIES, OR ANY INCONVENIENCE ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THIS SERVICE. 4. No Ticket Sales, Tokens, or Travel Passes
This website does not sell, issue, recharge, or resell transit tickets, physical tokens, Touch 'n Go cards, or My50 Unlimited Travel Passes. All fare payment transactions occur exclusively at official station ticket counters, turnstiles, or designated official kiosks.
5. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use this Service for lawful personal, informational, and non-commercial purposes. You may not:
- Deploy automated scrapers, bots, or distributed denial-of-service scripts intended to degrade server availability.
- Attempt to inject malicious payloads or bypass backend rate limiters.
- Misrepresent this website as an official government or transport authority property.
6. Open Government Data & Meteorological Disclaimers (data.gov.my)
Weather forecasts, temperature readings, and weather warnings displayed on the Service are sourced from the Malaysian Meteorological Department (Jabatan Meteorologi Malaysia / MET Malaysia) via the government open data platform data.gov.my under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.
